Our map is the basis of the location features and location data visualization on the dashboard. It's composed mainly of three different components.
The left-sidebar, where you find tools to interact with it, from top to bottom: image download, zoom in, zoom out, centralize, toggle with color and disable/enable layers.
On top of the map, you can filter information that it's shown in it. From warehouse, floorplan, and zones to assets/asset types.
Filter hierarchy is to be respected, meaning that we will not be able to see zones from floorplan B if you have floorplan A selected.
In the map area itself, you will see both predefined/configured features, like zones, boundaries, and so on, and data itself. In the live-map you will be able to see live data about your assets (if the asset layer is activated).
Layers are partial feature definitions inserted on the floorplan setup. For instance, boundaries and obstacles are a layer, zones another layer.
On top of these basic layers, you also have the sensors layer where you find information about the sensor position of your current installation.
Upon enabling, you will see position information about your assets, this layer will only be available on the live map page.
If geo-positions were configured, you are not able to position your warehouse on top of world views. Similar to Google maps, you can see your warehouse information on street and satellite maps.
You can visualize in 3D your floorplan definitions, navigating in three dimensions among them.
Withing analytics, our map will be used to visualize location-based plots, a new top filter will appear where you can filter the kind of metric/map that you can use to see the data.
