So our platform is capable of generating events, rules have to be created. A rule is a definition of an extraordinary event. For instance, one rule can be an asset traveling at more than 30Km/h in a given zone.
There are multiple types of rules supported by our platform currently:
Each of these rule templates has its own configuration set associated, which allows you to create a large variety of events, events/alerts.
To create a rule you must head to the Rules page, where you find a "add rule" button. Creating a rule is a matter of configuring a template of one of the types stated above. You give it a name and fill in the information structure. That information structure will vary in accord with the type of rule that you choose, but generally, it's a matter of choosing the zone where that rule will be applied and the values, for instance, speed rules will ask for what speed to consider an infraction, and near-collision rules will ask for the min. distance.
Deleting a rule has external consequences, meaning that alerts generated by its application will no longer be visible.
